Recognition and celebration of Cultural Diversity is important to everyone at MACG.
During July, we recognised Indigenous culture during NAIDOC Week with art sessions & documentaries to share knowledge and celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Parkdale residents celebrated 4th of July American Independence Day with a themed lunch; cheeseburgers, fries and apple pie. Red & white &blue decorations, USA themed activities & typical American snacks.
On Bastille Day residents shared their French heritage, language skills, travel experiences and celebrated with samples of French cuisine and music. At Grand Cedar, some of the women enjoyed an afternoon of French inspired outfits and photo portraits!
