MACG were proud to be exhibitors at the Care & Ageing Well Expo in Melbourne.
It was an opportunity to have discussions with Older Victorians and their families to find out more about the state's rapidly evolving aged care industry.
MACG residents had been working on a Worry Doll Project, which was showcased at the Expo. The handmade Worry dolls were so popular, we had almost 900 Worry dolls made by residents from across the homes. Wool, wooden beads, pipe cleaners & fabric samples were transformed into these unique little dolls.
Such a great conversation starter about well-being which had everyone talking. Another fantastic meaningful, creative project building connections and fostering a sense of community.
Money raised from the Well-Being hamper will be donated to the Residents charity of choice.
